The Original
Throughout its 20-plus years of existence, the level of editorial
and video excellence has secured Testa's Convention TV's position
as the first and only credible news program for trade shows.
As publishers of leading magazine such as Sound & Communications,
DJ Times Magazine, Club Systems International, and The
Music & Sound Retailer, Testa Communications has a long
history of reporting industry news.
Trade shows are often the place where new products are unveiled
and announcements are made: With everything that's going on at the
show, it's easy for attendees to miss important news.
We saw early on that trade show participants needed an information
source which provided an overview of the show and highlighted the
critical news as it develops.
Efficiency
Prior to a trade show, Testa's Convention TV editorial crew researches
the market and gathers current industry news.
Very often we receive news with the understanding that it can not
be released until the show starts. We use this lead-time to research
stories and make reports.
When the show begins, our reporters scour the show floor, doing
interviews and following up on stories.
At the end of the day, they sift through everything and distill
the news down to what will air on the next day's broadcast.
Excellence
Technical Excellence
Unlike most other convention television producers, Testa's Convention
TV operates its own state-of-the-art video production and editing
facility, VTTV Studios. Convention TV production and editing crews
utilize the most advanced graphics and animation equipment which
gives our broadcasts the cutting-edge look our viewers have come
to expect. Attendees rely on the programming for its "real
news" approach and upbeat presentation.
Broadcast Excellence
In addition to producing the highest quality news show, Testa's
Convention TV has pioneered new methods of transmitting its programs.
We broadcast to giant monitors, throughout convention halls, and
to thousands of hotel rooms, 24-hours-a-day. Where available, programs
are also broadcast on buses taking attendees to or from their hotels
to the Converntion Center. Footage has been picked up by network
television for national broadcast and has been nominated for numerous
broadcasting awards. ConventionTV.net carries video of current shows
in their entirety, airing the same day as the trade show broadcast
and remaining on the site for a six full months.
