IT/AV Report

Overview
Beginning in 2003, the staff of Sound & Communications developed IT/AV Report to address the emerging requirement for audiovisual integrators/contractors/consultants to be “in the know” about important IT topics and issues, which are becoming of increasing importance to the industry Sound & Communications covers. IT/AV Report also reaches out to the IT professionals who are becoming increasingly involved in the AV world as more AV content and control runs through their infrastructure.

Partnered With

In 2006, InfoComm International became an official partner and sponsor of IT/AV Report. InfoComm sees IT as an area of future growth for commercial AV applications. InfoComm contributes editorially to each edition of IT/AV Report and promotes it through its enewsletters and on the web, as well as assisting with distribution.

Interactive Digital Edition
The digital edition of IT/AV Report includes all the features of the digital edition of Sound & Communications.

More Circulation
In addition to reaching Sound & Communications’ entire readership, IT/AV Report reaches further with additional distribution throughout the year:

BICSI (www.bicsi.org)

  • The Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc., began as an industry association to service the needs of telecommunications consultants. BICSI now services the needs of all professionals who work in the information transport systems industry. That is, all of those who are involved with communications and all associated infrastructure. IT/AV Report is distributed at its conferences.

Digital Signage Expo (www.digitalsignageexpo.net)

  • This event caters to the emerging digital signage market, which has continued its robust growth over the past few years. Its parent company also holds other regional events during the year, all featuring IT/AV Report for its attendees.

InfoComm AV/IT Networking Courses

  • Held in locations throughout the country, InfoComm has stressed the importance and taken the initiative to address this important area since it themed its 2005 trade show on IT/AV convergence.
