David A. Silverman, Editor
A publishing veteran, David has been editing magazines and books
about the AV, photographic and printing fields for more than 40
years. David is a former Associate Publisher of Audio Visual Communications
magazine, PEI and other publications, and edited the first InfoComm
(then NAVA) Trade Show Daily in 1977.
AVent Horizon
Pete Putman, CTS, ISF, is the president of ROAM Consulting L.L.C., which provides training, marketing communications and product testing/development services to manufacturers, dealers and end-users of displays, display interfaces and related products. He has an MS degree in Television and Film, is a Senior Academy Instructor for InfoComm and was named InfoComm's Educator of the Year for 2008. Pete is a member of The Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) and Society for Information Display (SID).

Peter Mapp, FASA, FAES, is principal of Peter Mapp Associates. Peter was named the 2009 NSCA University Educator of the Year, NSCA's top education honor. Peter brings readers the scientific and technical foundations of audio and its proper application each month.
Sign Age
Contributing editor Shonan Noronha, EdD, brings readers in-depth technology and applications in the emerging digital signage market each month. Her background includes consulting on applying new media technologies for training, marketing and corporate communications. In addition, in 2010, Shonan was named Editor of the biannual IT/AV Report, a supplement to Sound & Communications.

David McNutt is senior partner at The McNutt Group, a technology and management consulting firm. He holds two masters degrees, including an MBA from the Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business-University of Chicago, and he is Assistant Professor at Columbia College Chicago, a four-year college providing graduates for the professional AV industry. David provides monthly news and analysis about
business trends that affect the sound and communications industry.

Orlando, Florida-based
David Lee Jr., PhD, CEO of Lee Communication Inc., has an extensive
academic background in the field of communication and is a licensed
minister. He has more than 25 years of experience in the audio/video
industry and is a member of Sound & Communications' Technical Council. Traveling extensively, he consults with churches,
organizations and governments on projects in more than 50 countries,
including Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and the United States. David's unique background helps readers connect with today's church leaders with his monthly column.

Tony Warner, CTS-D, CSI, CDT, LEED AP– writes for Sound & Communications about Architectural
